River and Lake Tours

Uncle Ducky Outfitters offers a wide variety of trips.  You can leisurely paddle down some of our very picturesque rivers or travel along the shorelines of many small beautiful lakes that are home to the loon, eagles and wild brook trout.

Marquette county has one of the largest concentrations of small lakes and rivers anywhere in the country. Here are some of our favorites:

• Escanaba River
• Michigamme River
• Au Train River
• Ford River
• Silver Lake Basin
• Greenwood Reservoir
• Michigamme Reservoir
• White Deer Lake
• Craig Lake State Park
• Dead River from Forrestville

These are all lazy trips that allow you to paddle and enjoy the scenic beauty of this area.

Our tours can either be guided or unguided and we can also assist you in transporting the boats. Costs are basically $40.00 per day, per boat, and $125.00 for the guide, if used. Minimal transportation costs sometimes may be necessary to more remote locations. This is usually $1.00 per mile and is meant only to cover our costs but will not exceed $30.00 dollars.
